"Taking on Kojima Productions"
One fan's experience of fighting the creators of Metal Gear Online on their own turf.
"JimSensei", a member of our own TUS Forums, recently had the opportunity to challenge the creators of Metal Gear Solid from Kojima Productions to a round of Metal Gear Online, after winning a random drawing contest on 1UP.com.
He states:
"When I first joined the game, the first thing that appealed to me was how differently they played compared to American gamers. They loved to use the box and found a love for the Stun Grenades. Also, I enjoyed the Kojima Productions logo over their head as well; it was a nice touch. They knew how to use the box, but my shotgun was more then enough to take them out. With the trash talking and unique style that was present, I had a lot of fun playing against them. We won the game, but the true prize was hearing that we were the only team to beat them that day; 3 against 4 as we had an empty spot which was taken by Milkyman (of 1UP.com). Milkyman was kind of fun as well. He died alot and liked to use the dirty magazines (which ultimately lead to a teabagging). After winning, we heard nothing but praise from them. It was kind of akward as I did nothing but type back to their translator and occasionally get a kill or two."

As a treat to site visitors, JimSensei has provided us with some handcam footage of his bout with Kojima Productions. The footage was taken via handycam and is low resolution, but provides an easilly understandable view of the KojiPro guys getting royally pounded.
